Hank Willis Thomas' first monograph, Pitch Blackness (Aperture), raises complex questions about identity, race, violence, and commodification in contemporary life. Deborah Willis is a photographer, educator, author, and curator. She is currently chair and professor of photography and imaging at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
